Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has answered questions on the UK’s support for Ukraine and the likely alternative scenarios to end the conflict. Mr Sunak stressed that any future peace settlement would strictly depend on the will of the Ukrainians.
He also urged China’s President Xi Jinping to “engage directly with President Zelenskyy” and use his influence over his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to help end the war.
