Former Senior Military Intelligence Officer Philip Ingram assesses Russian forces’ claim that they have encircled the Ukrainian held city of Bakhmut.
It comes as the Ministry of Defence put out a new assessment of the situation in the east of the country, warning that Ukrainian forces are coming under “severe pressure”.
