In 2015, Adidas brought a prototype shoe to the United Nations to show what could be achieved in the fight to end plastic waste. The Ultraboost x Parley DNA is inspired by that historic moment and celebrate the 5th anniversary of our collaboration with Parley for the Oceans.
This sneaker features Parley Ocean Plastic, upcycled plastic waste intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities, and shorelines, preventing it from polluting our oceans.
This iteration of the Ultraboost, even though having slightly less boost and sporting a lesser quality feel when compared to the regular Ultraboost is still incredibly comfortable.
I have almost always had an Ultraboost in my rotation because of how good they are as a daily sneaker, I don’t think that will change for a while. The Ultraboost remains one of my favourite sneakers of all time.
