Humza Yousaf sworn in as First Minister of Scotland

Humza Yousaf has been legally sworn in as Scotland’s sixth First Minister, after taking the oath of office and pledging allegiance to the King, replacing Nicola Sturgeon after her eight-year run.

The ceremony, held at the Court of Session in Edinburgh, saw Mr Yousaf become the youngest person and the first person from a minority ethnic background to hold the position.
