Charles Bronson asks for freedom at parole hearing

A hearing has taken place to decide if one of the country’s most infamous prisoners, Charles Bronson, should be released after nearly 50 years behind bars.

The 70-year-old, also known as Charles Salvador, didn’t hold back as he made a bid for his release from prison at a parole hearing.

Bronson was given 15 minutes to make an opening statement saying, “First of all, it’s no secret I have had more porridge than Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and I’m sick of it”.
